The Champions Trophy 2025 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi faces possible disruption due to heavy rain on Thursday.

Both teams aim to end their campaign with a win, despite the match having no impact on the tournament standings. Upon their arrival at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the ground staff had already covered the pitch and outfield due to the downpour.

Pakistan, the defending champions, were eliminated after losses to New Zealand and India in their first two games. Similarly, Bangladesh also suffered defeats against the same opponents, leading to their exit from the competition.

Earlier, persistent rain forced the abandonment of another match at the same venue on February 25, preventing any play from taking place.
